Alternative Energy
Cellulosic Ethanol — Algae to Biodiesel
Abhaya Global's core business is the pursuit, development, and commercialization of state-of-the-art biofuels technology for the production of ethanol and biodiesel. We believe that the global demand for biofuels will grow exponentially and, over time, supplant the demand for petro-based fuels. To this end, Abhaya Global avoids technologies that are reliant on crop-based feedstocks such as soy oil, corn, or sugar because of the pressures they exert on the food supply and the prices of numerous other commodities such as cotton, while potentially adding to the degradation of rainforests and other ecosystems. Instead, Abhaya Global is building out commercial-scale, next-generation technologies for the production of cellulosic ethanol from waste and biodiesel from algae.
Solar/Fusion-to-Electricity
Abhaya Global is also well versed in the broader landscape of alternative energy technologies outside of the biofuels arena. To this end, we are monitoring the technological advancements in the solar industry and the fusion-to-electricity industry specifically. The continued drop in the cost of silicon and increase in battery storage capacities will make solar technology a dominant force in the drive to meet global energy demands. Abhaya Global has technology partners with patented Fusion technology with the capacity to produce electricity at a fraction of the costs and pollution of modern-day coal or nuclear power plants. Although our core expertise is in the biofuel arena, we are excited about the future prospects of these industries.
